What is an AA rally?
A weekend of AA meetings, speakers and fellowship, where members from near and far come together to share their experience, strength and hope, and have some fun in sobriety.
Do I have to be an AA member to come?
Open meetings are open to anyone, including family, friends and anyone curious about AA. Closed meetings are for people who have a desire to stop drinking. Each meeting is marked in the Program.
Can I come for just one day?
Yes. Day passes are available on the Tickets page.
Is there a concession or help with costs?

I have dietary needs. Can you cater?
Please tell us when you book. We'll do our best, but if you have a severe allergy we suggest bringing your own snacks as well.
Can I bring my kids?

Can I take photos?
Please don't photograph or film other people at the rally. Anonymity matters to our members. Photos of the venue, the view or your lunch are fine.
Will the speaker meetings be recorded?

Who runs the rally?
The rally is organised by AA members as a service, through the [COMMITTEE NAME, e.g. Gold Coast District AA Rally Sub-Committee: CONFIRM]. It's paid for by registrations and contributions from AA members.
I think I might have a problem with alcohol. Who can I talk to?
